Monolithic Slab
A monolithic slab combines the slab and its thickened edges into a single structure designed and poured according to the project plans. It can be suitable for garages, workshops, sheds, and accessory buildings when soil conditions, loads, and design requirements allow.
At JEV, the finished result begins well before the concrete arrives. Excavation, granular base preparation, compaction, formwork, insulation, and elevations must all work together to create a stable foundation and a finish suited to the building’s intended use.

Monolithic Slab Is Not a Floating Slab
The two terms should not be used interchangeably. A monolithic slab is designed to form an integrated structure with its thickened edges or load-bearing elements. The choice of system, its thickness, reinforcement, and construction details must always match the plans, loads, and actual site conditions.

How We Work

Prepare
We confirm access, layout, and elevations, then carefully prepare the soil and granular base.

Install
Formwork, insulation, vapour barrier, reinforcement, and integrated components are installed according to the project requirements before the concrete is poured.

Pour & Finish
The concrete is placed continuously, then the surface is finished according to its intended use. Particular attention is given to details, slopes, and transitions.
